What will Crystalline cost for your car?
Crystalline is quoted for the product and windows selected. Our homepage’s AED 1,550 general 3M package does not identify Crystalline as the included series. Crystalline uses multilayer optical film technology. The current CR BLK range combines it with ceramic nanotechnology, giving buyers a range of appearances rather than one universally clear tint.
You prefer a lighter finish
Compare the lighter variants if keeping the cabin bright matters more than a deeply tinted look. Their solar performance needs to be judged at that light level.
You want to compare the premium
Ask what the additional price buys at a similar shade. The difference may involve finish, a particular solar measurement or your preferred product, rather than a large TSER gain.
You want the film identified
Match the roll label, shade code and quotation to the right product sheet. A 3M name alone does not establish generation, performance or warranty eligibility.

VLT is the view Higher values let more visible light through. Lower values mean darker glass.
TSER is total solar energy rejection It describes solar energy rejected by the filmed glass, not a percentage drop in cabin temperature.
IRER covers infrared energy These values include transmitted and absorbed energy across 780 to 2,500 nm with film on glass.
The sheet reports 99.9 percent UV block for these Auto 75 combinations. These are manufacturer reference values, not measurements of your car. Read the CR BLK technical sheet, revision E, May 2024.
Why an infrared headline can mislead
The same sheet’s IRR values use the narrower 900 to 1,000 nm range, measured on film with its liner and without glass. IRR, IRER and TSER describe different things. A 98 percent IRR figure does not mean 98 percent of all solar heat is kept out.
What changes at a similar VLT?
Compare both ranges on the same Auto 75 test glass. These examples use the CR BLK May 2024 sheet and Ceramic IR July 2021 sheet, both with the same stated glass and test procedure.
Around 50 percent VLT
CR BLK 50 is slightly darker in this reference and has a modestly higher TSER. Compare the actual price difference against that benefit.

Confirm fitting, extras and total including VAT. Identify the warranty provider, duration, exclusions and whether removal and replacement labour are covered.

3M UAE advertises a five-year manufacturer-backed Crystalline warranty, subject to the warranty card. Overseas limited-lifetime wording should not be assumed to apply in Dubai.

Follow the supplied instructions before lowering or cleaning your windows.
Be gentle with the surface
Use a neutral, non-abrasive glass cleaner and soft cloth. Avoid scrapers, brushes, heavy pressure and vigorous rubbing. Keep tape, stickers and suction cups off the film.
Send photos before trying a fix
Contact us about persistent haze or lifting. Include the affected window and installation date, and avoid picking at the edges.

Which Crystalline shades are in stock?
Ask us to confirm the exact product and shade for your appointment. The manufacturer range on this page is a reference, not a live workshop stock list. Your quote should identify CR or CR BLK, the shade and matching product documentation.
Is Crystalline better than Ceramic IR?
It depends on the shade and what you value. In the cited Auto 75 data, CR BLK 70 and Ceramic IR 70 both give 64 percent VLT and 51 percent TSER. At other nearby light levels the figures differ. Compare the actual quote, finish and warranty rather than assuming the higher-priced range wins every measurement.
Will a light Crystalline film give me privacy?
A light film allows more visible light through and usually offers less concealment than a darker option. The effect also changes with cabin and outside lighting. Choose light shades for the visibility and appearance you prefer, rather than expecting one-way privacy.
Can Crystalline go on my windscreen or panoramic roof?
These need a separate assessment of the vehicle, glass, equipment and permitted coverage. A light-looking film or a product code is not road-use approval. Tell us the exact windows you want treated before agreeing to installation.
How long does fitting take?
Allow around three to four hours for a typical car, as advised on our homepage. Existing-film removal, difficult glass and additional windows can add time. Confirm your appointment length and the separate curing instructions before booking.
Will it interfere with phones, GPS or toll equipment?
3M describes Crystalline as non-metallised and designed not to interfere with mobile devices, GPS or satellite radio. Glass-mounted cameras, sensors, antennas and toll tags still need their positions considered during fitting.
Will my parked car stay cool?
Window film reduces solar energy entering through treated glass. It does not refrigerate the cabin or prevent heat building up in a parked car. Air conditioning and sensible parking remain important, and we do not promise a fixed temperature reduction.
